Aquatic Lifestyle (Pty) Ltd conduct an Annual Sneaker Boat Cruise in Kasane with an effort to diversify tourism-related excursions in the Chobe River. The event serves to attract tourists for a weekend of amazing tourism excursions and thrilling experiences.
ii)BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Aquatic Lifestyle Sneaker Boat Cruise started in 2016 and is conducted annually in June. It entails a week of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), PreCruise Brunch Session, Boat Cruising, After Party and a Picnic Session.
It’s an all-weekend event with activities starting on Friday until Sunday.
The event promotes tourism in Chobe and encourages a travelling culture amongst Batswana by drawing followers from as far as Gaborone, Francistown and neighbouring countries like Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. During this event, the Sneaker cruise followers get to appreciate tourist attractions sites such as the Chobe National Park, Sedudu Island, Hot Springs, Kazungula Bridge and the historical Baobab tree.
The main highlight of the event is the Pre cruise brunch session which entails 2- 3 hours photoshoot session, social interaction between sneaker cruisers over a brunch meal on a layback picture perfect outdoor river front venue. This session provides elegance and a luxury aquatic lifestyle experience before boarding the boat.
The other highlight is the boat cruise, where cruisers enjoy the flora, fauna and beautiful sunsets. This is the right and precise mix for those who love life and chose to remain cheerful and choose the exquisite aquatic atmosphere.
